Catoosa County has a five person combined board of Elections and Registration. Two members are appointed by the Democratic Party of Catoosa County, two members are appointed by the Republican Party of Catoosa County and the fifth member is appointed by the party (other than the two listed above) whose candidate received at least ten percent of the vote in the previous governor's race. If no third party qualifies to appoint a board member, the fifth member is appointed by the current Probate Judge. Board members serve for four years and are an integral part in the planning and performance of elections in Catoosa County.

The Catoosa County Board of Elections meets the second Tuesday of every month at 4:00pm at the Freedom Center, 5238 Evitt Street, Ringgold.
