The Projects Administration Department manages purchasing contracts for supplies, work projects, public work projects and new equipment costing OVER $15,000.

Information regarding Catoosa County bid or proposal opportunities are available from the following sources: Catoosa County News newspaper (view in Legal Section in Wednesday edition), Catoosa County, per HB 322 Georgia Procurement registry (GPR) established by the Department of Administrative Services (DOAS) All Bid & Proposal opportunities valued at $100,000 or more must be posted. Georgia Local Government Access, Catoosa County Facebook page, and posted on the bulletin board outside of the Catoosa County Administration Building, 800 Lafayette St., Ringgold, GA 30736.

Bids vs Proposals

BIDS (Opened publicly at the time and place received and read aloud): Catoosa County reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids, to waive formalities, technicalities or irregularities and to re-advertise if necessary. Bid award will be made based on the lowest responsive and responsible bid that has met the requirements of Bid Specifications.

PROPOSALS (Opened at the time and place received so as to avoid disclosure of contents to competing offerors during the process of negotiations): Catoosa County reserves the right to accept or reject any and all proposals, to waive formalities, technicalities or irregularities and to re-advertise if necessary. Proposal award will be made based on the most responsive and responsible proposal that has met the requirements of Proposal Criteria.

The contract between Catoosa County and the selected responder shall be subject to the payment agreement drawn up between Catoosa County and the selected responder.
